​About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Railway 18th Edition Electrician to join our team. As an electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in railway buildings and infrastructure.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in railway buildings and infrastructure.

  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.

  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.

  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and standards.

  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Competence

Required

  • A valid 18th Edition electrical qualification (British Standard BS7671)

Desired

  • PTS (Personal Track Safety)

  • A valid UK driving license.

  • Pre employment medical, drug and alcohol screening

  • BPSSBasic security clearance may be required (to be undertaken as part of the onboarding process).
