S&T Cover Ltd partnered with Kier Group to deliver a series of Network Rail’s “Stay Safe at Level Crossings” presentations in Littlehampton Schools. The interactive presentations, which were very well received, promoted safety behaviours and awareness by engaging the children in a Safety Poster Competition. This initiative was featured in the Feb/Mar 2018 edition of Rail Technology Magazine (RTM).
Since 2018 S&T Cover has worked in conjunction with Network Rail and Local Councils in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire to deliver School Rail Safety presentations and Junior Citizen programmes focussing on anti-social behaviours, the dangers of illegally accessing the infrastructure and safe best practices when travelling on the infrastructure.
